Giving back to the community through roll off dumpsters

At Circle J Roll Offs, we believe in giving back to the communities that we serve. In February 2016, we collaborated with Raise the Roof Project, which is a home repair ministry led by the Dauphin Way United Methodist Church and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. This organization connects with people in need and pairs them up with groups who are willing to repair roofs. These groups consist of high school students and adult leaders. We play our part by providing the sizes of dumpsters that they need to handle the waste products.

Past projects from Raise the Roof include:

• Auburn Wesley Foundation Christmas Mission, where students on Christmas break worked on two homes, repairing a roof and ceilings, plus patching holes and painting
• St. Episcopal School Senior Service Bay, where high school seniors worked on six sites during the annual service day
• Partnering with Davidson High School PTSA to bring motivational speaker Romal Tune to Mobile in March, 2015. “Romal’s message is one of hope and positive decision-making, which he shared with groups of middle & high school students, adults, and the children at Taylor Park Community Center.”
